It’s easy to get started with it, the HD-DVD drive connects to the back of your Xbox 360 and has two extra USB ports. It also comes with a remote controller. To get the best picture possible make sure you change the resolution settings on your Xbox 360 display (ie 720P, 1080i and 1080P if your TV supports these resolutions) and use either a component or HDMI cable instead of the composite cable.

One side gives you the standard version of the movie which you can play on any player, and the other the high-def version which your HD-DVD player would automatically recognize and play.
